1. Transfer the oil from the package into a bowl and leave at room temperature for at least half an hour. It should become soft.

2. Cut the cooking oil into pieces and beat with a mixer until splendid.

3. Without stopping the process, finely pour condensed milk on it and continue to whisk until the mass becomes dense and uniform.

How to make a Basket of Flowers cake with your own hands with forget-me-nots from mastic with marshmallows

Flowers are made of mastic based on elastic marshmallows marshmallows. To fix the heads on the cake, for the “stalks” you need a special confectionery wire, which can be purchased at a specialized culinary store or supermarket.

Ingredients

For mastic:

• two full tablespoons of butter;

• white marshmallows - 200 gr.;

• a pound of powdered sugar.

Cooking method:

1. To prepare the mastic, transfer the marshmallows into a refractory bowl, add oil and put in the microwave for half a minute.

2. When the air "marshmallows" melt, begin to knead with your hands, gradually pouring powdered sugar to the mass. When the mass starts to stick well from the hands - the mastic is ready. Put it in a bag and put it in the cold for an hour and a half.

3. Mash the cooled mastic with your hands to room temperature, roll out with a thin, large layer, round in shape and transfer to a cake, the sides of which are smoothed out in advance with butter cream. Gently press the formation to the cake with your hands, cut off the remains. Paint a third of the remaining mastic and scraps with gel dyes in pink, pale blue, pale pink, green and lilac, and leave the rest white.

4. Cut flowers with four petals from colored blanks by special cutting, and leaflets from green ones. Slightly bend the flower petals up and lay out all the blanks on parchment so that they slightly dry.

7. Dilute the honey with water in a 1: 1 ratio and coat the mastic that covered the cake. Attach long tows around the entire perimeter of the cake, and then, threading through one, attach small strips. It should turn out basket weaving.

8. Weave two long flagella of mastic between each other and attach on top around the entire circumference of the cake. Make one more of the same weaving and attach it at the bottom of the "basket".

9. On the surface of the cake, evenly place flowers strung on wires, and between them, attach leaves with the honey mixture.

Marshmallow-based jewelry can be painted not only with special confectionery colors. If you melt such marshmallows with chocolate, the mastic will not only get a pleasant chocolate flavor, but also turn brown. It, like no other, is well suited for decorating a chocolate cake in the form of a basket. Flowers are made from white mastic, dyed with food colors.

Ingredients

For chocolate mastic:

• chewing marshmallows (marshmallows) - 50 gr.;

• a spoonful of milk;

• 50 gr. bitter or milk chocolate;

• a spoonful of butter.

For white mastic:

• marshmallows - 10 gr.;

• juice from a quarter of lemon;

• food colors: pink, red and green.

Additionally:

• wooden toothpicks.

Cooking method:

1. Put pieces of chocolate, marshmallows, butter in a bowl for heating in the microwave, add milk and put in the microwave.

2. As the chocolate and butter melt, when the marshmallow swells, mix into a homogeneous mass.

3. Gradually pouring the powder that was sifted through a sieve, thoroughly knead the mastic. It should be uniform and not stick to your hands. Wrap with a layer of cling film, leave on the table.

4. As in the preparation of chocolate mastic, microwave the marshmallows with lemon juice and, stirring until smooth, knead by adding small amounts of powder to the mass. Separate one third and color in green. Divide the rest in two equal parts and mix one with red and the other with pink dye. Wrap the slices in a film and leave temporarily aside.

5. You can start decorating the cake only after the butter cream applied to the cake has solidified.

6. Cut out a circle the size of a cake from any paper and draw it into twelve segments. Place the template on the surface of the cake and mark the lines on its sides. Divide the distance between them in half and also gently draw lines on the cream.

7. Roll out long thin sausages from half of the chocolate mastic, cut them into slices a little longer than the height of the cake and attach to the cream along the outlined lines. Wrap the free edges on top of the cake.

8. Roll the remaining mastic into a thin layer and cut into strips up to a centimeter wide. The length is twice the distance from one to the other, already attached to the cake, plus the width of one such strip.

9. Attach the decor to the cake, imitating basket weaving. The cream layer and mastic do not need to be lubricated, they are so well bonded to each other.

10. Put the woven cake-basket in the refrigerator, and start making roses yourself. Roll pink and red mastic into thin layers and squeeze out a glass of mug from them, these will be “petals”. Collect the scraps, knead well and roll into a ball.

11. Nip off a little mastic of one of the flowers, blind a drop (middle) from it and attach to a toothpick. Then start gluing petals of the same color to it until you form a flower of the right size. Carefully unscrew the edges of the petals and transplant the rose onto the cake by sticking a toothpick in the biscuit. From the products of this recipe, you can fashion at least 35 roses.

5. The basket can be decorated with butter cream, tinted brown or the same mastic. In this case, it will need almost twice as much.

Any cake can be supplemented with a pen. It is baked from dough, which requires a minimum of ingredients to knead. When making a pen, it is necessary to correctly calculate its thickness. Please note that after applying the cream, the thickness of the handle may double and if it is baked too thick, the cake will look rough.

Ingredients:

• one protein;

• 60 ml of milk;

• a spoonful of sugar.

Manufacturing technology:

1. First, prepare the dough for the handle. Beat the protein with sugar, add milk and, adding flour, knead a fairly steep dough.

2. Divide it equally, into two parts, roll it in the form of sausages and bind the resulting flagella with each other.

3. Put the “weave” on a greased baking sheet, shape the handle. Please note that the distance between its ends is equal to the diameter of your cake.

Cooking method:

1. Soften the butter in advance for the cream and chop in large pieces. Fold in a deep bowl and begin to whisk. When the mass becomes completely homogeneous, without stopping the whipping, pour the condensed milk into it and bring the cream to readiness. Beat until it thickens well.

2. Transfer one third of the cream into a separate bowl. A little less than half of the remaining color in a dark brown color, and the other part in a lighter tone.

3. After assembling the cake, align with the main cream of its sides. On the pastry bag, attach the sprocket attachment and transfer brown light cream to it.

4. On the side of the cake with the tip of the knife, slightly departing from each other, outline horizontal lines. For weaving to come together, there must be an even number of them.
