For the first time in history, American scientists have cleared a case of HIV transmission between women. Note that transmission of infection in a lesbian couple is extremely rare. HIV infections are much more common in gay men. A survey of two women showed the identity of the virus, which excludes any elements of randomness.

The infection case was recorded in the city of Houston. One of the partners knew about her illness, however, she refused the necessary treatment four years ago. Another went to the doctor with complaints of flu symptoms. Initially, the tests showed a negative result, but subsequently the disease was confirmed. Note that the sick woman had no other sexual contact for six months. Now doctors turn to lesbian couples: sexual contacts should proceed only with the use of contraceptives. Today, oral contraceptives are presented, which, however, are not popular.
