Scientists from the United States were able to identify the gene responsible for the development of the level of intelligence. The head of the research group, Dan Dubal, found the “cloto” protein, capable of increasing the human IQ level by as much as six points. According to scientists, the discovery will help to better understand the additional mechanisms of dealing with Alzheimer's disease.

Strengthening neural connections, "clot" stimulates brain activity. It was also found that people who have one copy of this protein have a significantly longer lifespan than their compatriots who are deprived of this gene.

According to scientists, only one combination with the “cloto” gene is capable of increasing the level of intellectual abilities, which, according to experts, depend on education, as well as on the desire for knowledge.
