A resident of the UK Christopher Taylor became the first owner of a unique "bionic hand" in the United Kingdom. Made by innovative technologies, the hand of Michelangelo has made a real breakthrough in the field of prosthetics. This prosthesis allows patients who have lost their hands to lead a normal life and even to fulfill official duties.

Taylor lost an arm a few years ago, having got into an accident while riding a water bike. Heavy injury practically put an end to the career of an engineer. The father of three children was in despair, but fate made him a gorgeous gift. Christopher was the first in the British Isles to “try on” a “bionic arm”.

According to the Press Association, the prosthesis of a new generation was developed by German scientists. It is produced in limited quantities and is not cheap - $ 75 thousand. Earlier in the UK, prosthetics with bionic prostheses have already been performed, however, they cannot be compared with the “hand of Michelangelo”, which is able to perceive the signals of brain neurons.

For the manufacture of the prosthesis using a variety of metals, plastic and alloys. Unlike its predecessors, the fingers completely reproduce the structure of the human hand. “My fingers are real,” Taylor doesn’t hide the joy, “I can take objects in my hand and practice my favorite profession.
