We all know that there are not a countable number of options for cooking potatoes. But the most useful thing is to bake it. And here, too, there are many different recipes. We will focus on our favorite option - we will bake boiled potatoes. It may sound strange, but everything will become clear after you read the detailed recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Potato - 1 kg
  • Mustard powder - 1 tsp.
  • Ground sweet paprika - 1-2 tsp.
  • Garlic - 2-3 cloves
  • A mixture of peppers - ½ tsp.
  • Provencal or Italian herbs - 1 tbsp. l
  • Salt - 1 part tsp or more
  • Vegetable oil - 2-3 tbsp. l
  • Water

Step cooking:

Baked potatoes are best suited with a yellow skin. It will be ready the fastest and its taste (baked) is much better than other potato varieties.

Peel the potatoes and cut into 4 or 6-8 parts. Slices should not be too small, then they will dry out, and should not be very large, they will take a long time to prepare.

Pour the potatoes with warm water and bring to a boil, cook for 3-4 minutes. Immediately drain the water.

While boiling potatoes, cook spices. In a bowl, mix all the spices, vegetable oil, and garlic passed through a press. Mix well.

Add spices to warm potatoes.

We cover the pan with a lid and shake well. Spices evenly cover all the pieces.

Put parchment on a baking sheet or baking dish (this is to wash the dishes later). Put the potatoes so that there is a small distance between the slices.

We send potatoes to the oven preheated to 240 degrees on the second or third shelf from the bottom. Bake for 25 minutes. Readiness check by breaking one piece.

Serve the potatoes directly to the table. While it is hot it is the most delicious. Do not forget about your favorite sauces - ketchup, tartar and others.
