Men and women begin to change their partners under the influence of subconscious requests. They strive to fill the spiritual emptiness with another affair, which momentarily revives the extinct feelings.
The reasons for adultery devoted a lot of research. At this time, scientists set a different goal and decided to find out whether there is a pattern in treason and during the day when a husband or wife has a desire to "go left."
A popular international dating site was brought to anonymous research. Take part in the survey could anyone who has reached the age of majority. But the experiment had one prerequisite: the fact that the respondent had a stamp in the passport about marriage.
Researchers analyzed 172,000 questionnaires and found that spouses are more likely to commit betrayal on Wednesdays. The rate of betrayal on this day was 18%. On other days, a much smaller percentage of “trips to the left” was recorded. And on weekends, husbands and wives were the most "loyal" family men. According to the participants of the experiment, on Saturday and Sunday, they approximately fulfill their marital duty and spend the weekend with their loved ones.
Why partners are choosing to change the environment, scientists could not justify the specific arguments. Many men and women admit that the middle of the week has to flirt at ease. There is a desire to meet and get new emotions.
Experts found out why men and women in marriage agreed to treason. The answer turned out to be trivial: dissatisfaction with sex or lack of it. It turned out that every 10 couples ignore intimate relationships in family life.
Scientists noted that the most adultery occurs in the United States - 22%; followed by the United Kingdom - 18%, followed by France - 9%. In Italy and Brazil, this figure was only 8%.
Psychologists and candidates of science say: when a person gets emotional and sexual satisfaction in marriage, he doesn’t have any thoughts about going to the left. Habit also plays a big role here, when a person does not want to spend his own "precious" time to revive faded relationships, but destroys the temple of love with fleeting passions that provide him with a new passion and feelings.
