People who want to lose weight, as a rule, deny themselves sweets. However, British scientists have found that if you eat a dessert not as a final dish, but as the first, then it will not affect the diet. This is due to the fact that the consumption of sweets at the beginning of dinner restrains the clearing up appetite and helps to combat possible overeating.

The brain receives most of its energy from glucose, which is contained in a large amount in various desserts, cakes and chocolate. A special brain protein controls the amount of glucose consumed by a person. If its amount is below the required norm, the brain signals the need to consume more sweets or starchy foods.

When the brain is saturated with glucocase, the appetite automatically decreases. To some extent, this explains why many people are not able to resist sweets - they have a large amount of glucokinase in their brain.
